Lower prices on drones, and their increased maneuverability, now makes it economically attractive to record videos/aerial photo from drones which previously required renting either a crane or helicopter at high costs. The camera quality has also improved rapidly, making drones a very real provider of professional footage with a quality that matches the best cameras on the ground.

Additionally the drones with their improved software now makes it safe to shoot from perspectives that was not previously possible: flying close to the ground, indoor, through tunnels, between trees, under bridges and much more. A new world opens up.

Our Drones

The drones we use at AIRFLIX are equipped with the best drone cameras on the market (Super 35 sensor) with top-class lenses in different focal lengths, allowing us to deliver top-level video (up to 6K RAW) or photos (24MP RAW) of top professional quality.

Here's an overview of the drones we fly at AIRFLIX and you can find more information about their characteristics and uses.

MAVIC 3 Cine - Hasselblad camera with ProRes 422 HQ

For smaller, or special, jobs we use the latest compact drone on the market. The Mavic 3 Cine is fast and easy to get in the air, but at the same time filled with an incredible amount of the most advanced drone technology available. The drone is equipped with the most advanced stabilization and anti-collision technology on the market, including sonar and cameras that read the surroundings and the surface below, enabling it to fly and hover with great precision and deliver a very safe indoor flight.

Despite its size, the Mavic 3 Cine model is able to record in ProRes 422 HQ. This is the absolute smallest drone on the market that can record in ProRes and deliver a video quality that can be used in most professional workflows.

The compact drones are of course more affordable and therefore more suitable for tasks with smaller budgets and requirements.
